Education in personalised nutrition for cancer care

NourishWell is an Erasmus+ project focused on strengthening education and skills in nutrition for cancer patients and survivors through interdisciplinary and practice-oriented learning.

NourishWell is an international project that brings together experts in clinical oncology, nutrition science, culinary arts, and vocational education to strengthen education on personalised nutrition for cancer patients and survivors.

The NourishWell curriculum is designed as a modular, blended learning programme, combining online education with practical, hands-on experience. It focuses on the development of both professional and transversal skills needed in oncology nutrition.

Nutrition supports treatment tolerance and recovery.

Patients face complex nutrition-related challenges during and after treatment

Professionals often lack oncology-specific nutrition training

Practical culinary skills are essential for real-life application

NourishWell is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and represents a small-scale partnership in vocational education and training. The project promotes cross-sector and cross-country collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in education, with the long-term goal of strengthening patient-centred cancer care through improved nutritional education.

NourishWell is implemented through a multidisciplinary and international partnership:
